In 2020, Ermewa Group acquired DEMI Container Services BV. Ermewa Group broadened its services to customers using tank containers by acquiring DEMI Container Services BV (DEMI) from the Van Zomeren family. Over nearly 25 years, they established DEMI as a market leader in the maintenance and repair of tank containers in the Netherlands. DEMI works primarily with special tank containers for liquids, liquefied gases and cryogenic gases. With this transaction, Ermewa Group strengthened its global position in tank containers, particularly those for special liquids, gas and cryogenic gases.

In April 2023, Ermewa Group rebranded as Streem.
